Abstract: Magnetically recyclable α-Fe2O3 nanofibers were used as heterogeneous catalysts for oxidation of benzylic alcohols to their corresponding carbonyl compounds in the presence of hydrogen peroxide as oxidants. This catalyst showed good catalytic activity and high selectivity under mild and solvent free conditions.
